Anyone who works a full-time likely has the same struggle as I do, eating healthy during the work week. During the weekends I do fantastic because I have time to plan, shop, and cook meals. On weekdays it's a little more of a struggle. I've found if I have a plan and can make delicious healthy recipes ahead of time or to grab and take with me to work, I have a much higher success rate. I'll be sharing a lot of these recipes on my blog, hopefully they'll help you be more successful as well.
One of my favorite waters to prepare ahead and take to work is Strawberry Mint Orange Water. It's delicious, extremely refreshing in the mornings and gives you an energy boost. Use the recipe below and prepare in mason jars for an easy on-the-go beverage.
Strawberry Mint Orange Water
Ingredients:
2 Organic Strawberries
4-6 Organic Mint Leaves
1/4 Organic Orange
Directions:
Take the mint leaves and place them in the bottle of the mason jar. Chop up two strawberries and 1/4 of your orange. Add to the mason jar on top of mint leaves. Fill to the top with purified water. Gently stir ingredients then cover and allow to steep overnight in the fridge.
